Buying 12-inch or 10-inch Subwoofers?
I recommend that you buy a 12-inch subwoofer instead of a 10-inch. 12” subwoofers produce deeper frequency sounds. Deeper bass is what you will get with a 12-inch. Two 10-inch subwoofers in an enclosure have a similar sound to a single 12-inch without an enclosure. It’s a simple choice and will cost you less money.
Know Your Power
It’s always important to know how much power a speaker can handle. This is important both in regards to installation and also for performance.
If you are building your stereo system, ensure that your chosen subwoofer has enough power. Purchasing ones with a maximum power of 800 Watts upwards are highly recommended. But please remember that some can handle up to 2000W.
Enclosed Subwoofers or Not?
